sustainability coordinator
As stated in the 2011 Bryn Mawr College Sustainability Report Card, college administration has committed to hiring a sustainability coordinator but has yet to follow through on this promise. Hiring a sustainability coordinator will aid Bryn Mawr in continuing to make progress in decreasing our environmental impact; the sustainability coordinator will also provide a continuity among different campus groups involved in sustainability and will coordinate and improve collaboration efforts among student groups, facility, staff, and administration.
composting
At fall 2011 plenary, Bryn Mawr students voted in favor of a resolution supporting composting efforts on campus (particularly in the dining halls). The Greens will be working toward the creation of a comprehensive composting program for the Bryn Mawr campus.
